A special acknowledgement goes out to two deserving Scouts. Kirby and Grayson Dunn were awarded a National Certificate of Merit by the Boy Scouts of America. They rendered First Aid to their grandmother who had fallen on a trip to the Grand Canyon. She was unconscious and bleeding from the head. They remained calm and utilized their Scout training to prevent shock and treat her wounds. She was air-lifted out to safety and made a full recovery. I was fortunate enough to hand Kirby and Grayson their certificates and meet their grandmother as well. You never know when your Boy Scout training will be put to use. Great job Grayson and Kirby! A Scout is Prepared.
